A peaceful observation of the landscape amongst the Scottish Hills, overlooking Loch Oich...a beautiful place in the highlands and well worth a visit!
This is a Mixed Media painting using quality artist's textures which enable me to create a painting of depth and atmosphere, as I'm able to literally sculpt the medium as I work.
I have deliberately kept to a minimal palette of tones of browns and fawns to suit any contemporary wallspace and surroundings.
The water is highlighted with a subtle acrylic sheen for realism and the grasses are headed with gold and tastefully stand proud from the canvas.
This painting is on deep-edge Loxley boxed canvas, ready to hang...no framing is necessary.
The painting continues around all four sides of the canvas and had two coats of quality artist's varnish for protection.
