- Pink Poppies is a lovely fresh painting done in pastel pink acrylic, with 'metallic relief' in pink and white which I used to highlight certain petals in this contemporary painting and used to create the poppy-heads.
When the light hits this painting at certain angles, the metallic paint has a lovely sheen.
The painting is continued on all four sides and has been varnished for protection.
This painting would make an ideal wedding gift.
