- Everyone's entitled to their privacy, and 'Secret Thoughts' portrays a young woman sitting alone in a quiet, darkened room enjoying a playful moment under her blue comfort blanket.
This best quality Loxley boxed canvas is highly textured with a foundation of coarse/hairy handmade papers and painted over with my chosen acrylic colours then knocked back/sanded, then repainted again and again where I wanted to to achieve the antique-looking suface effect that you see.
Her skin has a beautiful translucency revealing all the layers of paints underneath.
As with all my paintings on canvas, I have painted on each side to give a professional finish.
