Biograghy
Lindi is a Contemporary Artist and has exhibited in many galleries and having success in selling worldwide. In 2006, she was approached by Dorling Kindersley publishers to show examples of her work in their new series of art books. She was born in Bowdon, Cheshire in 1959; her career path has always been in Health/Special Needs and Education; infact she still works part-time in High School Education, balancing this with being a successful professional Artist.
Lindi's contemporary paintings are inspired by many of The Masters, and of today’s artists, Jenny Saville, and in contrast, Pino Daeni.
Lindi’s artwork holds a broad spectrum of content and mixed media which she uses in her textural seascapes/landscapes, and in her more abstract pieces.
Her passion of figurative work is tastefully provocative and sensual, using acrylic paints in a dry-brush technique to give a recognisable airbrush style and quality.
Her artistic intention is to provoke her audience enough to 'lose' themselves in what they see and perhaps, question.
Much of her time is devoted to commission enquiries and many of her figurative works of art are available as high quality Signed and Dated Limited Edition Giclée Prints (Ltd to 100).
You are able to contact Lindi via this website if you have any queries.
